“Creative Freedom” is a phrase that at first sounds like the ultimate goal to strive for.

Free to create whatever we want to create, free from restrictions and pressures and demands. Free from limitations put on us by ourselves and by others. Free from anything and everything that might restrict our creativity.

Heaven!

Except it doesn’t quite work like that…

What happens when we have this complete freedom is not that our creativity flows with the might and volume of the Amazon River.

In fact you might be lucky to even get a trickle with the force of a pinhole in a hosepipe.

What makes creative output creative? How do you recognize creativity when you see it or hear it? Imagination, originality and inspiration all come into the mix, for sure, but does creativity have to be an example of something utterly new? I don’t believe that it does… some of the most strikingly creative works generate their impact by offering a new perspective. They illuminate the previously invisible in a thought-provoking new way.

Do you remember as a child lying on your back on a beach or in the field and looking at the different shapes of passing clouds? If you do, you will know how enjoyable it can be to focus completely on one thing. To be receptive, you need to allow all your senses to explore the environment. The more sensory pathways you open up, the more extensive and exact your perception will become. This has been acknowledged by scientists in numerous studies. Students can memorize new material twice as well if it is presented in a visual form – for instance, as a film or video – and not just by merely listening to a lecture. This is because visual cues from the eyes play an important part in the learning process.

A patio in a garden can be categorized into two types. The first one is attached to the house building, preferable in the backyard. Such types of patio will be a semi-open space with seating arrangement like cane chairs and a small coffee table. Because of it’s semi-open nature the residents can enjoy the view of the outside garden by seating inside the patio.

The second type of patio is detached from the house building into the garden itself. A small paved walk connects the patio and the house building. In this type also the design of patio is of semi-open type so that the residents can enjoy the view. Such type of patio can also contain a doghouse or any other arrangement for the safety of pets.
