The following is the definition of consistency:
firmness of constitution or character.
Start out with small accomplishments and build
with success to larger and more powerful
fulfillment’s of your dreams and desires. Each short
route you run with precision builds confidence as
you tackle the bigger issues of your life. Be
consistent with yourself, your family, and your
beliefs. Do not be swayed by naysayers and there
will be some. Remember this; they never built a
statue to a critic! Go for it, believe in yourself and
your ideal life, and know through consistent actions
consistent results will occur.
Everyday take time for yourself to stop and reflect
on your life, it doesn’t have to be long…a few
minutes before bed or maybe at lunch. Continue to
stay focused on your goals and believe in yourself
and your chosen life direction. Dedication and
consistency are a powerful one-two punch that no
stinking thinking can stand up too.
Napoleon Hill, author of the classic Think and Grow
Rich, knew Thomas Edison and Henry Ford
personally. He said of both men that the ONLY thing
that was different about them from everyone else
was their persistence. Be persistent, persistence
pays huge dividend checks to you throughout your
life.
Napoleon Hill thought persistence was a pretty
important key to success — he used the word 97
times in Think and Grow Rich and he devoted an
entire chapter to it. Some of his wisdom includes,
“The majority of people are ready to throw their
aims and purposes overboard, and give up at the
first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry
on DESPITE all opposition, until they attain their
goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegie’s,
Rockefeller’s, and Edison’s. There may be no heroic
connotation to the word “persistence,” but the
quality is to the character of man what carbon is to
steel”.
Be precise in life; define the intangible, persistence,
and perseverance yield massive positive results.
Fredrick Wilcox said, “Progress involves risk. You
can’t steal 2nd base with your foot still on first”.
How true, how so very true.
There are many ways to create success. One of the
chief ways is to become unstoppable. This
happens when your passion, desire and
willingness to do whatever it takes to reach your
success, meld together. When this happens it
creates an unstoppable force and nothing will be
able to keep you from achieving your goals.
When I look back over the times I attained
success it was clearly when I was unstoppable.
The ingredients that go into becoming unstoppable
are passion, desire and the willingness to do
whatever it takes.
Another key ingredient is to never entertain the
idea of giving up. You may be faced with hardships
along the way to meeting your goals, do not be
deterred. Situations happen in your life for a
reason, maybe to make you stronger, more
understanding, more tolerant or just more
acceptable to your belief in yourself. Everything
we strive for happens at a time that fits the
universal schedule for your accomplishments. An
old sales axiom goes like this; the sale is usually
consummated on the 6th close! Talk about
believing and persistence! Don’t give up on
yourself. That next try may just have been the one
needed to put you over the top. In the face of
adversity real winners are born!
When all of the key elements are present, you will
create an environment where success is certain.
Being unstoppable is about being fierce. Being
unstoppable doesn’t mean that you won’t come up
against obstacles and challenges. What it means is
you will figure a way around or even better yet
through whatever is in your way.
