If you have the Xbox 360 Disc Read Error then you may think that you will need to replace your disc drive. This is not the case. This article will tell you what causes the disc read error on the Xbox 360 and also will give you a way that you can fix the problem.
You can tell if you have got this error on your console because when you put a disc in the drive that is a game disc you get a message that pops up saying “Please insert an Xbox 360 game disc!”, this can be frustrating to say the least.
Well the DVD drive error is caused by the same thing that the 3 red lights are caused by and that is overheating, except the 3 red lights mean that another part of the motherboard has been affected.
