You have to get qualified traffic to your website, and there are a number of different ways to do that. The next thing that you have to do is, now, in order, this is a copy note here, you could do this without number two, but it will be a hundred times harder. I’m not going to go into my whole leverage story, we just don’t have time today, but when you build a - point number two is that you have to have a list of subscribers. When you build a list of subscribers, normally you’re able to leverage your subscribers into additional traffic. Now, subscribers usually purchase from your webpage at a higher conversion rate then your initial traffic anyhow.
But if you have a list of subscribers in addition to your regular traffic that comes into your website, you can get additional traffic by sending your subscriber to your website. Just to give you an example, myself, I generate about 18000 visitors a month forty five hundred of those are fresh unique visitors that I either pay for directly, or I pay for them through search engine optimization, or articles or whatever. The other 13500 visitors are from people who are already subscribers of mine. So rather than give you an explanation of this, the bottom line is that if I did not have a list I would normally have 4500 visitors, and assuming that they purchased at a 1% rater, I would make 45 sales a month.
Now, in my case, I do about 180 sales a month which is 1% of the 18000 visitors. So, a list certainly, it leverages everything you do. I used to tell everyone at least three to five times as much traffic after three to five months, now that I’ve been doing this for eighteen months, I’ve kind of normalized at four times, and I believe that’s probably a good number. There’s probably a few people out there who can do a little bit better than that, and I challenge you to shoot for it, but really, if you can get four times as much traffic by incorporating subscribers, then that is a huge amount of leverage.
