There are several survey companies that use a complicated reward system for their surveys. If you really want to get the most out of these then you’ll have to keep a few things in mind. I personally prefer cash sites but I still give the points systems a chance.
The first thing you should do is look at their catalog. It is the same principle as the old Pepsi Reward program. If you were smart you picked out something that you wanted from the catalog before you drank yourself sick for the points. Survey sites need to be given the same consideration. If you don’t see anything you like in the catalog than don’t bother gathering points. You are just working for free if they don’t have anything you really want, and unless it is a huge site, they usually don’t rotate their inventory too often.

This normally wouldn’t be a problem but your points aren’t worth much if you can’t get enough to spend them.
The third thing to know is that gift cards are your friend. When checking the catalog keep a special eye out for gift certificates. Several survey programs that don’t offer cash will offer a gift card. I’ll suggest that you keep a close watch out for Amazon.com gift cards. You can buy just about anything entertainment related with one and they have pretty good prices. You should also keep a special eye out for anything Paypal related in the catalog. You may or may not know that Paypal functions as an online payment processor. If you don’t have an account than you should probably sign up for one. The verification process isn’t very involved for a confirmed American. The point is that several companies that don’t want to issue checks will sometimes make a payment to another Paypal account. This money can then be sent to your bank account through a simple ACH transfer and it will probably be in your hands faster than if they’d sent a check.
Paid Surveys are a great way to make money online, but you need to sign up with legitimate paid surveys that pay you.
These little tips should help you get the most out of your survey websites. If they use a reward program you will have to be a little flexible in your attitude and make sure that you’re going to earn what you deserve.
